FSUR in the Media
These are here to give you an idea of the amount of media coverage.
You will notice that most of the mentions are not recent. It is because I got tired of keeping track.
I was the “voice of commonsense” guest consultant (the “reality check chick”) on Feng Shui Life, which could be seen on Fashion TV in 2001 and 2002.

Reviews
FSUR seems to please a wide range — from skeptics to consumers. (FSUR occasionally receives rants — on an average of two a year. Most are simply too incoherent to post.)
Australian Skeptics “Pretty impressive!”
As someone who runs a business that is constantly flooded by Feng Shui this and that, I was glad to see that there was someone who had solid evidence that Avery labels on walls just make your wall look like it was chicken-poxed and that mirrors don’t bend energy any more than my Crow poster can. The publications that are available to magickal supply stores and (I cringe at this term) “New Age stores” highly tout the benefits of said quackery, and your page makes every article about Feng Shui that I now read a laugh riot! Thank you for educating people in such an entertaining manner!

Shareguide, WellMedia, and New Age Info “Everything you always wanted to know about Feng Shui delivered with a lot of humor. A consumer site with a sense of humor … separates fact from fiction. Everything you need to know and then some.”
Light of Atlantis “Great site!”
I don’t know a damn thing about feng shui, but I LOVE your website! … I laughed, I cried, I learned something, I had fun. You write well! And while the average pen might be mightier than the sword, YOURS is mightier than the depleted-uranium 25mm helicopter-mounted Gatling gun!
Rabbi Rami Shapiro says he loves FSUR, that it’s “clever, helpful and fun.” He’s the author of “Wisdom of the Jewish Sages,” among other things. (The Virtual Yeshiva is a wonderful place to visit.)
Personal Development Network (UK) ” … some very refreshing and very funny material is available here — so take a look!”
I thought I would take a moment to simply state that I enjoyed your site(s). I thought your piece on Eco-Kosher and Feng Shui well done! I found your pages through another link, and finally found someone who could explain why I should/should not worry about the clutter of my house — rented from a 96-year-old (may she live to be 120), so that someone would take care of her things and she wouldn’t have to worry!

Part of a Feng Shui — Frank Lloyd Wright discussion with the architecture editor of About.com (November 1999). Also participated in a piece about dating, and one about all things New Age.

There are interviews in the San Francisco Examiner and other Bay Area newspapers, the Cupertino Courier, the Miami Herald, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Arizona Republic, and the Bellingham (Washington) Herald — to name a few. (Actually, articles have been picked up by news services — including Knight-Ridder and AP — so they probably appeared in many more places.) You can also find interviews in Distinction and Luxe.
